60 de zile de război / Ucraina a respins numeroase atacuri de-a lungul liniei de contact în Donbas
Duminică, 24 aprilie, se împlinesc 60 de zile de la invazia Federației Ruse în Ucraina. Ucraina a „respins numeroase atacuri rusești de-a lungul liniei de contact în Donbas în această săptămână”, a transmis duminică Ministerul britanic al Apărării.
„În pofida faptului că Rusia a obținut unele câștiguri teritoriale, rezistența ucraineană a fost puternică pe toate axele și a provocat costuri semnificative forțelor ruse”, a precizat ministerul.
Ministerul Apărării din Marea Britanie a evocat, de asemenea, „moralul slab al rușilor și timpul limitat pentru reconstituirea, reechiparea și reorganizarea forțelor de la ofensivele anterioare” ca fiind cauzele posibilie pentru „eficacitatea de luptă” scăzută a Federației Ruse.

20:00 – Vicepremierul ucrainean Iryna Vereshchuk a declarat că un coridor de evacuare pentru Mariupol nu a fost deschis duminică deoarece partea rusă nu a garantat o încetare a focului.
„Nu am putut deschide coridorul umanitar pentru Mariupol, deoarece Rusia nu a confirmat garantarea unui regim de încetare a focului. Vom încerca din nou mâine”, a precizat ea.
19:31 – Guvernatorul regiunii estice Luhansk a raportat că duminică, în ziua de Paști, forțele ruse au bombardat orașul și au ucis civili.
18:16 – Aproape 22.000 de soldați ruși au fost uciși de ucraineni, susține Armata Ucrainei.
17:58 – Reprezentanta republicană Victoria Spartz din Illinois, care este primul membru al Congresului născut în Ucraina, a îndemnat duminică SUA să reia activitatea diplomatică în Ucraina, afirmând că acest lucru ar trimite „un mesaj puternic pentru poporul ucrainean”.

15:02 – Forțele ruse continuă atacul asupra Mariupol, afirmă un comandant ucrainean într-un mesaj de Paște. Căpitanul Svyatoslav Palamar, comandantul adjunct al regimentului ucrainean Azov, a declarat duminică că forțele ruse continuă să bombardeze orașul Mariupol, subliniind necesitatea evacuării civililor și a forțelor ucrainene încercuite.

Forțele rusești au ocupat Melitopol, în sud-estul Ucrainei, la câteva zile de la începutul invaziei, dar de atunci orașul a cunoscut proteste sporadice. Cel puțin 184 de copii au fost uciși și 286 răniți de la începutul invaziei rusești în Ucraina, potrivit ultimului raport al Înaltului Comisariat al ONU pentru Drepturile Omului.
13:02 – Organizația pentru Securitate și Cooperare în Europa (OSCE) depune eforturi pentru a „facilita eliberarea” mai multor membri ai Misiunii sale speciale de monitorizare (SMM) care au fost „privați de libertate în Donețk și Luhansk”, a anunțat duminică OSCE.
„OSCE este extrem de îngrijorată de faptul că mai mulți membri ai misiunii naționale SMM au fost privați de libertate în Donețk și Luhansk. Organizația folosește toate canalele disponibile pentru a facilita eliberarea personalului său”, a transmis organizația.

12:00 – Forțele rusești au continuat bombardamentele intense asupra orașelor ucrainene în ajunul sărbătorilor Paștelui ortodox, a declarat duminică Liudmyla Denisova, ombudsmanul pentru drepturile omului din parlamentul ucrainean.
„În ajunul uneia dintre cele mai mari sărbători ortodoxe, armata rusă a continuat să bombardeze în mod activ orașe pașnice din Ucraina și să ucidă civili”, a declarat ea.
