Ministrul Afacerilor Externe, apel către românii din Diaspora: Înscrieți-vă pe listele de vot
Noul ministru al Afacerilor Externe, Ramona Mănescu, a declarat, la Antena 3, că politica externă a României nu este a Guvernului, a vreunui partid sau a președintelui, ci a României. Mănescu susține că nu vor exista tensiuni cu președintele României, Klaus Iohannis.
Întrebată cum se va înțelege cu președintele Klaus Iohannis, ministrul MAE a răspuns:
„Trebuie să fie o colaborare instituțională corectă. Președintele are atribuții conform Constituției și cred că nu avem de ce să creăm tensiuni, nici conflicte, doar fiindcă facem parte din partide diferite. Politica externă este a României, nu este a Guvernului, a unui partid sau a președintelui, este a României, și trebuie să servească interesul României în exterior”, a declarat Ramona Mănescu.
În ceea ce privește relația sa cu premierul Viorica Dăncilă, aceasta susține că a contat faptul că se cunosc de mult timp.
„Ne cunoaștem de mult timp. Am lucrat împreună pe anumite dosare și este întotdeauna nevoie de încredere, iar încrederea există”, a subliniat noul ministru.
Referitor la alegerile prezidențiale din toamnă, ministrul MAE a vorbit și despre măsurile care se vor lua la secțiile de votare din străinătate, unde au fost situații în care, din cauza aglomerației, mulți români nu au mai putut vota.
„Ne-am gândit să închiriem mai multe spații de votare, pentru acele secții unde au fost aglomerări mari, nu pentru toate secțiile, fiindcă votarea se va face vineri, sâmbătă și duminică. Sigur, înseamnă că pe secțiile mari avem o așteptare, să vină foarte mulți oameni, și acesta este un apel pe care îl fac românilor din afara țării, să se înscrie pe listele de vot pentru că va fi o cheltuială pe care statul român o va face în plus pentru a închiria spații mari și ar fi păcat să avem săli mari și să avem unul, doi alegători pe zi. M-aș bucura foarte mult ca românii chiar să vină”, a mai mai spus Mănescu.
