Antibiotice Iaşi va începe producţia de pastile cu iod / Alexandru Rafila: Avem nevoie de 30 de milioane de comprimate
Ministrul Sănătăţii, Alexandru Rafila, a anunţat luni, 7 martie, că Antibiotice Iaşi va începe producţia de pastile cu iod, în eventualitatea unui atac nuclear din partea Rusiei, urmând a produce 2,5 milioane de pastile în 48 de ore. Potrivit necesarului realizat de către autorităţi, România are nevoie de 30 de milioane de comprimate.
Ministrul Sănătăţii a fost întrebat, luni, dacă România este pregătită în cazul unui atac nuclear din partea Rusiei şi a afirmat: „Începând de mâine, compania Antibiotice Iaşi va fabrica o mare cantitate, într-un ritm de 2,5 milioane de pastile în 48 de ore”.
Acesta a explicat că firma are substanţa necesară producerii acestor medicamente.
„Nu cred că o să fie probleme. Aş vrea un lucru să fie clar pentru toată lumea: iodura de potasiu nu este panaceu universal, nu se ia preventiv. Se administrează strict la indicaţie pentru o anumită categorie de persoane”, a mai afirmat Alexandru Rafila.
Ministrul a explicat că un necesar făcut de către INSP şi Comisia de endocrinologie a MS arată că este vorba despre maxim 30 de milioane de comprimate.
„Ele vor fi duse la direcţiile de sănătate publică, important este să ajungă în cât mai scurt timp la nivelul fiecărei primării. Nu e vorba despre vreun panaceu universal este vorba despre o substanţă care acţionează ţintit la nivelul tiroidei”, a mai afirmat ministrul.
Premierul Nicolae Ciucă a declarat, duminică, la Digi 24, despre pastilele de iod, că în momentul de faţă există un numit număr de pastile, care este insuficient, astfel că la nivelul Ministerului Sănătăţii s-a luat legătura cu producătorii de medicamente pentru a completa stocul. Premierul a mai arătat că este vorba de substanţa activă care trebuie să vină în ţară. Despre pericolul nuclear, prim-ministrul a spus că poate spune cu tărie că nu se va ajunge la o astfel de situaţie, şi nici măcar accidental nu trebuie să se ajungă.
