Percheziții DIICOT: Români vizați de trafic de migranți în Mexic și de clonare de carduri
DIICOT a destructurat astăzi o grupare infracțională condusă de un bărbat din Mexic, în urma unor percheziții făcute în această dimineață în Craiova și București. Potrivit DIICOT, gruparea infracțională clona carduri și trafica migranți. Românii aveau rolul de a proteja acțiunile de alte grupări prin violență și șantaj.
DIICOT arată că gruparea folosea banii obţinuţi din activitatea infracţională pentru a cumpăra terenuri sau de maşini de lux, investiții în clădiri ori ca şi capital al unor societăţi comerciale de tip ,,paravan” atât în Mexic, cât şi în România, fiind folosite în acest scop diverse persoane interpuse, obiectivul final fiind introducerea acestora în circuitul financiar legal.
Mai multe persoane din Craiova și București au fost, astăzi, percheziționate de DIICOT. Toate sunt acuzate de fraude informatice şi de trafic de migranţi pe ruta România-Mexic
În urma perchezițiilor, anchetatorii au confiscat 6 autoturisme de lux, dar și 21.520 lei, 5075 USD, 16.550 EURO, 8450 lire sterline, 1 pistol cu glonț calibru 9 mm, 5 ceasuri de lux, 51 telefoane mobile, 26 carduri bancare, aparatură skimming și înscrisuri doveditoare ale unor transferuri bancare.
„Procurorii DIICOT au efectuat un număr de 14 percheziții domiciliare pe raza municipiilor Craiova și București, precum și în localitățile Salcia și Argetoaia din județul Dolj.
În cauză există suspiciunea rezonabilă că, începând cu anul 2012, a fost constituit un grup infracțional organizat, format din cetăţeni români și mexicani, care a acționat pe teritoriul României, Mexicului, S.U.A. precum și a altor state, în ceea ce privește comiterea de fraude prin sisteme informatice şi mijloace de plată electronice (clonare de carduri), trafic de migranți pe ruta România – Mexic – SUA şi spălare a banilor”, se arată în comunicatul instituției.
Modul de acțiune
În anul 2012, cetățeni români și mexicani au format un grup infracțional organizat. Aceștia clonau carduri, făceau trafic de migranți și spălare de bani. Liderul grupării este cetățean mexican și deținea, prin intermediul unor interpuși, mai multe societăți specializate în montarea de bancomate. Suspecții copiau cardurile prin metoda „skimming”, un sistem special montat pe bancomatele utilizate adesea de turiști. Ulterior, mai mulți oameni plecau în S.U.A., India, Paraguay, Indonezia și retrăgeau bani de pe conturile furate.
La gruparea mexicană s-au alăturat și români care aveau cunoștințe în electronică și tinichigerie. Membrii grupării au interacţionat de mai multe ori cu grupări de crimă organizată din România, în special din Craiova și Bucureşti. Cu bani furați, interpușii grupului infracțional au cumpărat terenuri și mașini și au construit mai multe imobile.
