Statul a alocat 5 milioane de lei pentru repatrierea românilor blocați în străinătate, după anunțul Blue Air
Guvernul a adoptat miercuri, 7 septembrie, o Hotărâre prin care a alocat 5 milioane de lei Ministerului Transporturilor pentru a organiza, prin Tarom, curse pentru a repatria cetățenii români afectați de decizia Blue Air de a anula zborurile până pe 12 septembrie.
„Toate autoritățile și ministerele au fost mobilizate pentru a gestiona efectele generate de această decizie a companiei de a-și suspenda zborurile, o decizie care a afectat cetățenii, călătorii care au așteptat în aeroporturile din țară, dar mai ales în afara granițelor”, a declarat Dan Cărbunaru, purtătorul de cuvânt al Executivului, la finalul ședinței de Guvern de miercuri.
Concret, Guvernul a alocat 5 milioane de lei, din Fondul de rezervă, pentru repatrierea cetățenilor români care au rămas fără posibilitatea de a se întoarce în țară.
„Toate aceste cheltuieli urmează să fie recuperate. Bugetul nu trebuie să aibă de suferit în urma acestei situații, dar nici cetățenii români care au fost puși în această situație limită nu trebuie să aibă de suferit”, a dat asigurări Cărbunaru.
Totodată, Dan Cărbunaru a precizat că 2.000 de români au apelat la numărul 0040 751 08 4537, pus la dispoziție de Ministerul de Externe, pentru a cere ajutor autorităților.
„Mecanismul în baza căruia se vor implementa aceste măsuri ține de o corelare a eforturilor între Ministerul de Externe, ce va colecta solicitările de sprijin din străinătate și le va furniza Ministerului Transporturilor. Nu e prima dată când România face asta, și în situația primelor valuri de COVID au existat astfel de modalități prin care Guvernul a venit în sprijinul cetățenilor români”, a menționat purtătorul de cuvânt al Guvernului.
În cazul în care cei 5 milioane de lei alocați de Guvern nu vor fi cheltuiți în totalitate, sumele neutilizate se vor întoarce la Fondul de rezervă până la finalul anului, potrivit Hotărârii adoptată miercuri.
