DNA a solicitat Înaltei Curți de Casație și Justiție preschimbarea termenelor din dosarele în care sunt judecați Liviu Dragnea și Darius Vâlcov, au declarat, pentru mainnews.ro, reprezentanții DNA.
Procurorii DNA au invocat judecarea cu celeritate a cauzelor.
Cererea anchetatorilor vine după ce, în cazul lui Liviu Dragnea, instanța a amânat procesul până pe 20 mai, în contextul în care la 1 iunie unul dintre judecătorii din complet, Luciana Mera, se pensionează. Astfel, părțile ar putea cere reluarea apelului pentru ca noul judecător să cunoască în detaliu cauza.
La termenul din 15 martie, DNA a cerut sesizarea CCR cu două excepții de neconstituționalitate, motiv pentru care instanța a dispus amânarea, la cererea avocaților.
Prima instanță l-a condamnat pe Liviu Dragnea la 3 ani și 6 luni de închisoare cu executare. Liderul PSD a făcut apel, cerând achitarea, iar DNA a contestat decizia, solicitând o pedeapsă mai mare.
În cazul lui Darius Vâlcov, condamnat în primă instanță la 8 ani de închisoare, ieri a avut loc primul termen în apel, însă cauza a fost amânată pentru 11 iunie după ce consilierul premierului a cerut termen să își angajeze un avocat.
ÎCCJ va analiza cererea DNA și va stabili dacă va acorda noi termene, mai apropiate, celor două cauze.
