Șeful Serviciului de Telecomunicații Speciale, Ionel-Sorinel Vasilca, a demisionat. Acesta susține că nu părăsește funcția din cauza existenței unei sincope în intervenția din Caracal, ci pentru a nu afecta prestigiul instituției.
„Doresc să vă informez că, începând cu data de 29 iulie 2019, am înaintat Președintelui României demisia mea din funcția de director al Serviciului de Telecomunicații Speciale.
Fac precizarea că demisia nu a fost depusă ca urmare a existenței unei sincope, inadvertențe sau ca umare a celei mai mici umbre de vinovăție în exercitarea funcției de preluare și localizare a apelurilor de urgență 112 de către STS, a neglijenței mele în serviciu, a tratării superficiale sau a neasumării responsabilităților care privesc datoria mea și a tuturor angajaților de a garanta funcționarea continuă a serviciilor speciale, de cooperare și a celor pe linia 112.
Demisia a fost înaintată pentru a nu afecta prestigiul instituției”, a anuntat Ionel-Sorinel Vasilca.
Decizia vine pe fondul criticilor referitoare la exercitarea atribuţiilor de localizare a apelurilor Alexandrei, fata ucisă la Caracal.
Dăncilă: Mi-aș fi dorit să nu vedem atâta aroganță
Ulterior demisiei, premierul Viorica Dăncilă l-a acuzat pe șeful demisionar al STS de aroganță.
”Salut demisia șefului STS, pe care, însă, mi-aș fi dorit să îl motiveze ascultarea vocii societății și responsabilitatea față de serviciul pe care l-a condus. Mi-aș fi dorit să nu vedem atâta aroganță din partea domnului Vasilca. Această demisie era necesară din prima zi, pentru gestionarea defectuoasă a cazului de la Olt, nu pentru prejudiciile de imagine aduse instituției. Este nepermis ca într-o asemenea situație șeful STS să ne vorbească de imagine.
Nu pot să nu remarc că președintele Iohannis nu a avut nicio reacție și nu a luat nicio măsură în privința șefului STS. În mod normal, Președintele ar fi trebuit să îl demită. Vedem deci cum, la domnul Iohannis și șefii de instituții pe care îi numește, firescul se întâmplă târziu și având la bază motivațiile greșite”, a scris premierul pe Facebook.

Mai asistăm astăzi la o ieșire heirupistă – la fel de întârziată și plină de amatorism – și din partea domnului Barna, căruia îi voi spune atât: deciziile care se impun vor fi luate de către Executiv în baza analizelor și rapoartelor emise de grupul de lucru condus de domnul Raed Arafat. De asemenea, voi solicita convocarea de urgență a Parlamentului în sesiune extraordinară și vom implementa deciziile prin OUG. Guvernul nu va pierde timpul.
Primesc în fiecare zi concluzii din partea grupului de lucru, pe care le analizăm împreună și pe care le vom transpune în măsuri legislative, ținând cont de legislația existentă și de deciziile CCR. Fac această precizare în legătură cu informațiile apărute în spațiul public despre cartelele prepay. Cunoaștem bine deciziile CCR în domeniu și le vom avea constant în vedere. Nu va exista nicio măsură legislativă care să contravină acestor decizii care sunt obligatorii pentru fiecare cetățean român.
Asistăm deja la nepermis de multă politizare a acestui subiect. Am făcut încă de vineri un apel la decență și responsabilitate, principii pe care „candidații” le calcă zilnic în picioare”, susține Viorica Dăncilă.
