Klaus Iohannis a semnat decretele de numire a miniştrilor propuşi de Viorica Dăncilă. Excepţie face Titus Corlăţean, propus pentru postul de vicepremier. Preşedintele i-a trimis premierului o scrisoare în care susţine că Titus Corlăţean „nu se bucură de o reputaţie neştirbită”.
Astfel, Ana Birchall va fi numită ministru al Justiţiei, Roxana Mînzatu ministru al fondurilor europene, iar Natalia Intotero ministru pentru românii de pretutindeni.
Scrisoarea prin care preşedintele refuză numirea lui Titus Corlăţean în funcţia de vicepremier
„Prin adresa nr. 5/3358 din data de 29 mai 2019 ați propus revocarea doamnei Ana Birchall din funcția de viceprim-ministru pentru implementarea parteneriatelor strategice ale României şi numirea domnului Titus Corlăţean în această funcție.
Analizând îndeplinirea condițiilor legale, precum și a criteriilor referitoare la corespunderea pentru funcție a candidatului propus, statuate prin jurisprudența instanței constituționale, consider că persoana propusă nu se bucură de o reputaţie neştirbită, cerinţă esenţială pentru exercitarea demnității de viceprim-ministru şi pentru gestionarea domeniului complex al implementării parteneriatelor strategice ale României, întrucât în funcţia de ministru de externe, deţinută anterior, a gestionat în mod defectuos activităţi din domeniul său de competenţă, ceea ce a avut ca efect direct împiedicarea exercitării de către cetăţenii români din străinătate a dreptului de vot.
În consecință, am decis să resping propunerea de numire în funcția de viceprim-ministru pentru implementarea parteneriatelor strategice ale României a domnului Titus Corlăţean.
Prin urmare, în conformitate cu dispozițiile art. 85 alin. (2) din Constituție și ținând seama de jurisprudența Curții Constituționale urmează să înaintați o altă propunere pentru funcția de viceprim-ministru pentru implementarea parteneriatelor strategice ale României care, pe lângă respectarea condițiilor prevăzute de lege, în mod necesar, ar trebui să răspundă și cerințelor referitoare la pregătirea generală, pregătirea în specialitatea domeniului, experiența în materie, instruirea și aptitudinile pentru funcția în domeniu, reputația neștirbită și moralitatea”, transmite preşedintele.
