Alexandru Rafila a declarat joi, 30 decembrie, că va încerca să găsească soluții echilibrate în privința școlilor, precizând că este „un susținător al menținerii unităților de învățământ deschise”, indiferent de situația generată de pandemia de coronavirus.
„Consecinţele închiderii pe durate lungi de timp, din păcate am trăit acest scenariu în România, s-ar putea să se facă resimţite timp de ani de zile”, a declarat Alexandru Rafila, în cadrul unei conferințe de presă susținută la Institutul Matei Balș din Capitală, citat de News.ro.
Întrebat dacă autoritățile iau în calcul să închidă școlile în funcție de rata de incidență, Alexandru Rafila a precizat că va discuta cu colegii din sănătate și educație pentru a găsi soluții echilibrate.
„De aceea apelul nostru este, ne dorim să facem un efort comun, se va traduce în încetinirea transmiterii, prin posibilitatea sistemului de sănătate de a prelua cazurile şi prin funcţionarea cât mai aproape de normal a întregii activităţi, inclusiv a celei din şcoli”, a subliniat ministrul Sănătății.
