Dan Cristian Popescu nu mai este viceprimar al Sectorului 2. Prefectul Capitalei a semnat ordinul de încetare a mandatului
Cu doar o săptămână înainte de alegerile locale, candidatul PSD la Primăria Sectorului 2, Dan Cristian Popescu, a pierdut funcția de viceprimar al acestui sector după ce prefectul Capitalei, Gheorghe Cojocaru, a semnat joi ordinul prin care constată încetarea mandatului.
Ordinul prefectului este executoriu însă fostul social-democrat poate cere suspendarea în instanță.
Alături de Dan Cristian Popescu, și-au mai pierdut mandatul în Consiliul Local și Niculina Miclea, Ioana Lăzăroiu și Răzvan-Cristian Zaharia.

Toți cei patru consilieri au fost aleși pe lista PNL în Consiliul Local iar legea prevede că odată cu trecere la o altă formațiune încetează și mandatul.
Dan Cristian Popescu era creditat cu cele mai mari șanse la câștigarea fotoliului de primar al Sectorului 2. După ce în urma negocierilor purtate pentru stabilirea unor candidați comuni PNL a decis să-l susțină pe Radu Mihaiu (USR), Popescu a făcut pasul către PSD.
