Transnistria susţine că ajutorul militar promis de UE Moldovei „contribuie la intensificarea tensiunilor”

Ajutorul militar promis de Uniunea Europeană Republicii Moldova „contribuie la intensificarea tensiunilor şi interferează cu normalizarea situaţiei”, a declarat ministrul de Externe al Transnistriei, Vitali Ignatiev. De asemenea, Ignatiev a calificat incidentele care au avut loc în ultimele zile în regiunea separatistă moldoveană drept „atacuri teroriste” din partea Ucrainei şi a precizat că decizia R. Moldova de a adera la UE a fost luată „unilateral”, între cele două regiuni existând un conflict nerezolvat, care trebuie mai întâi abordat, iar ulterior R. Moldova îşi poate decide „viitorul politic”, relatează Reuters.

Temerile ca Republica Moldova să fie atrasă în conflictul din Ucraina au crescut în ultimele zile, după ce separatiştii pro-ruşi din regiunea separatistă moldoveană Transnistria au acuzat Kievul de presupuse împuşcături, explozii şi incursiuni transfrontaliere cu drone.

„Situaţia este alarmantă, pentru că Transnistria a suferit atacuri teroriste”, a declarat pentru Reuters Vitali Ignatiev, ministrul de Externe al Transnistriei, într-un interviu prin videoconferinţă din Tiraspol, capitala regiunii.

El a repetat acuzaţiile anterioare ale separatiştilor potrivit cărora Ucraina s-a aflat în spatele incidentelor de săptămâna trecută şi a spus că o altă dronă ucraineană înarmată cu explozibil a fost doborâtă marţi.

„Sincer, nu văd niciun motiv pentru care partea ucraineană ar folosi astfel de metode împotriva Transnistriei. Transnistria nu ameninţă Ucraina. Am spus de mai multe ori că suntem un stat absolut paşnic”, a mai subliniat Ignatiev.

Charles Michel, preşedintele Consiliului European, a vizitat miercuri capitala Republicii Moldova, Chişinău, în semn de solidaritate. Michel a declarat că UE ia în considerare acordarea unui ajutor militar suplimentar pentru a sprijini Chişinăul. El nu a oferit detalii însă.

Referindu-se la ajutorul militar suplimentar oferit de UE, Ignatiev a spus: „Desigur, astfel de declaraţii, astfel de acţiuni nu îndeamnă la calm, ci, dimpotrivă, contribuie la intensificarea tensiunilor şi interferează cu normalizarea situaţiei”.

Separatiştii au respins cererea Reuters pentru permisiunea de a relata evenimentele din Transnistria, pe motiv că toate acreditările pentru jurnaliştii străini au fost îndepărtate în urma atacurilor de săptămâna trecută.

Întrebat dacă ar putea exclude posibilitatea ca Rusia să îşi folosească baza militară din Transnistria pentru a ataca Ucraina, Ignatiev a precizat că nu poate vorbi în numele Moscovei.

„Cred că în aceste circumstanţe dificile, este important să fii extrem de atent în ceea ce priveşte declaraţiile. Şi chiar mai atent când vine vorba de acţiuni”, a afirmat Ignatiev în legătură cu remarcile unui general rus care a declarat în luna aprilie că unul dintre obiectivele Moscovei în războiul din Ucraina este cel de a ocupa teritoriul ucrainean pentru a-l ataşa la Transnistria.

Ignatiev a respins cererea Republicii Moldova de a adera la UE ca fiind „ruptă de realitate” şi a spus că va crea riscul suplimentar de reapariţie a ostilităţilor, deoarece Chişinăul a luat decizia „unilateral”.

„Republica Moldova şi Transnistria se află într-o stare de conflict nerezolvat… Un conflict nerezolvat înseamnă probabil că Republica Moldova trebuie să rezolve mai întâi conflictul şi apoi să îşi decidă viitorul politic”, a spus el.

Preşedinta Republicii Moldova, Maia Sandu, a declarat miercuri, 4 mai, că nu vede o ameninţare „iminentă” în ceea ce priveşte incidente din ultimele zile, însă Chişinăul a pregătit planuri de urgenţă în vederea unor scenarii „pesimiste”.
