Dăncilă, despre candidatura lui Kovesi : Trebuie să discutăm în partid / Siegfried Mureșan: Au încercat să o împiedice, dar au ajutat-o

Viorica Dăncilă nu exclude susținerea Laurei Codruței Kovesi pentru funcția de procuror-șef european, menționând că acest subiect trebuie dezbătut în partid. Siegfried Mureșan spune că Guvernul de la București a ajutat-o pe fosta șefă DNA să fie printre favoriți tocmai prin boicotarea candidaturii sale.

Dăncilă: Trebuie să luăm deciziile în partid

Întrebată dacă PSD o va susține pe Kovesi pentru funcția de procuror-șef european, Viorica Dăncilă nu a respins ideea, precizând însă că nu s-a discutat în partid despre acest lucru.

„Nu am discutat despre acest lucru. Pentru a lua o decizie sau pentru a vedea modul în care ne poziționăm vizavi de acest subiect trebuie să avem o discuție în forurile statutare. Am spus încă de la preluarea mandatului că atunci când luăm decizii nu trebuie să le ia doar președintele sau un grup restrâns. Fiecare decizie trebuie să ne-o asumăm și dacă este o decizie bună, să avem și noi satisfacția acestei decizii în forul în care am luat această decizie, dacă este o decizie rea, să ne-o asumăm cu toții. (…) Trebuie să avem democrație în partid și să luăm deciziile împreună. Nu am discutat acest subiect și nu vreau să vin cu o părere personală. Vreau să vin cu părerea forumului statutar”, a spus președintele PSD.

Ulterior, premierul a revenit cu clarificări.

„Vreau în primul rând să clarific, nu am afirmat așa ceva, la Galați m-au întrebat dacă o susținem pe doamna Kovesi și am spus că nu pot să dau un răspuns, dacă e nevoie trebuie să discutăm în forurile statutare, o ședință a Comitetului executiv al partidului. Nu am spus că o susțin, nu am spus că n-o susțin. Am mai spus că nu este corect să iau o decizie singură, am văzut că a apărut această știre, dacă reluați conferința de presă pe care am avut-o la Galați veți vedea că nu am exprimat susținerea sau nesusținerea pentru doamna Kovesi”, a completat Dăncilă.

Siegfried Mureșan: Șansele lui Kovesi sunt mai bune ca oricând

Siegriefried Mureșan spune că Laura Codruța Kovesi are toate șansele să devină procuror-șef european, funcție pentru care mai candidează și Jean-François Bohnert.

„Vă spun foarte clar și răspicăt că șansele doamnei Kovesi de ajunge procuror șef european sunt astăzi mai bune ca oricând. Am declarat și înaintea alegerilor europarlamentare și după, că la finalul acestora prioritățile Franței vor fi altele. Prioritatea Franței nu va fi cea de procuror șef european. Am spus în urmă cu două săptămâni că Franța aspiră să dea președintele Băncii Centrale europene, lucru care s-a și întâmplat.

Doamna Kovesi se afla pe locul întâi în această competiție, atât în Comitetul de selecție, format din 12 experți la nivel național, cât și ca autoare a audierilor și voturilor din PE. Kovesi pornește astăzi cu prima șansă pentru a ajunge procuror-șef european”, spune Mureșan.

Deputatul european spune că Guvernul Dăncilă a reprezentat o piedică pentru Laura Codruța Kovesi, dar, cu toate acestea, Executivul nu a făcut decât să o ajute pe fosta șefă DNA în obținerea șefiei.

„Vestea bună este cu Tudorel Toader și Guvernul Dăncilă nu au reușit să o împiedice pe doamna Kovesi pe durata președinției la Consiliul UE. Acum capacitatea lor de a o împiedica, la nivel european, este și mai mică. Ei au încercat să o împiedice, dar au ajutat-o. Liderii europeni și instituțiile și-au dat repede seama că dacă un ministru al Justiției care apără infractorii, are ceva împotriva doamnei Kovesi, asta reprezintă un motiv în plus pentru a crede că acel procuror își face treaba cum trebuie și este independent”, a mai spus deputatul european, la Digi24.
